International Marketing Internship (Marketing International)

Job Type: Internship

Hours per Week: 30+ hours in summer, flexible 20+ in school year

Job Description:

The intern will work with Omega staff to learn the skills required in an international consulting firm. This will involve shadowing employees as they perform market research, develop PowerPoint presentations, organize events, attend meetings, etc. Though the intern will not be responsible for daily operations, he or she will be working within a team to accomplish essential company functions. Any work done by the intern will be strictly supervised and assessed, so all applicants should be prepared for tasks and duties.

Responsibilities for the International Marketing Consultant include:

  • Completing market research projects
  • Presenting findings to Director and clients
  • Assisting with new Omega Institute program creation
  • Qualifications:

    Successful applicants will be those that display eagerness, open-mindedness, and adaptability. We intend this to be a training program, so prior experience in international consulting is not expected, but rather, we looking for someone who is willing to learn and go above and beyond the call of duty. In conjunction with these qualities, we ask that candidates possess the following skills:

  • Competent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Commitment to creating high quality work
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to serve clients

    Project Coordinator Internship (Coordinador de Proyectos)

    Job Description:

    This position is designed for a university student or a recent graduate. During this internship, students will work under the Omega Institute Director to learn the skills required in an international consulting firm. This will involve shadowing employees as they perform market research and presenting findings, communicating with clients, attending meetings, etc. Although the intern will not be responsible for daily operations, he or she will be working with a team to accomplish essential company functions. Any work done by the intern will be strictly supervised and assessed, so all applicants should be prepared for tasks and duties.

    Responsibilities for the Program Coordinator include:

  • Completing market research projects
  • Presenting findings to Director and clients
  • Managing logistics and business reservations
  • Managing client communication
  • Qualifications:

    Successful applicants will be those that display eagerness, open-mindedness, and adaptability. We intend this to begin as a training program, so experience in international consulting is not expected, but rather, we expect someone who is willing to learn and go above and beyond the call of duty.
